There’s a strong sense of community amongst residents and staff at Sunshine Park, with a weekly afternoon coffee club and a ‘Men’s Den’ for those looking to enjoy fortnightly happy hour drinks. We also have a hair salon, pool tables, and a comfortable lounge area to watch your favourite sports on the big screen. Our friendly and well-trained staff are committed to you and your care. Beds are available to accommodate dementia enrichment living as and when required, with many rooms overlooking the various gardens and courtyards too. It’s a place to live and feel completely supported.
Nestled in the Perth hills suburb of Lesmurdie, we have birds, goldfish, bobtails, and goannas that live in the courtyard enclosures. And the gardens - many of which have been planted in and tended to by our residents - are there to be enjoyed. One of the main attractions close by is Lesmurdie National Park. It’s the perfect place for outings with family and friends.

Your fees and charges will be based on the outcome of the financial assessment that you have submitted to Centrelink or DVA prior to your entry into aged care. Further information is available on the My Aged Care website www.myagedcare.gov.au
Basic Daily Care Fee – Payable by all aged care recipients
The maximum daily care fee is payable by all residents in aged care and equates to 85% of the Australian single age pension. The basic daily fee is set by the Australian Government and increases on the 20th of March and September every year. For some people this is the only fee they are required to pay.
Daily Accommodation Contribution (DAC) – Subject to financial
assessment outcome
The resident pays the required amount direct to the aged care provider which reduces the amount of care subsidy paid from the government to the provider. This fee is subject to quarterly reviews. The DAC can be paid as a RAC (Refundable Accommodation Contribution).
