Mental Health Support Services

Our Independent Residential Units (IRU) provide medium to long term accommodation for people living with psychological distress and who require a few hours of support per day in order to live independently in the community.

Our IRUs are situated around Perth Metro areas and have easy access via hospital programmes for mental health services.

Our recovery and rehabilitation program consists of a Transitional/Respite unit to accommodate residents who are in our mental health care facilities in Midland, Maddington and Victoria Park.

Roshana Group works closely with the Mental Health Commission (MHC) to establish Individualised Community Living Strategies (ICLS)

Our ultimate goal is to restore these individuals to their optimal level of functioning, and enable independence for them in  society through adequate psychosocial support.

Roshana mental health services are holistic in nature and are provided with the goal of supporting individuals with their recovery journey.

The programs focus on the recovery process, demonstrating that people with mental illness can lead fulfilled lives in the community with the same opportunities as all other people.

Our recovery programs through our  High care and Low care facilities  provide the confidence for independent living and also connect people with their communities by engaging the assistance of volunteers and peer support workers who help us implement programs.

Independent living facility, Midland.

Roshana Group is committed to constructing a brand new independent living facility at 40 Johns St Midland. This newest venture will be a brand new property comprising five two story units/villas with modern facilities. We are an organization currently running three other low care facilities named Honey Brook Lodge – Midland, BP Luxury Care – Maddington, and Burswood Care - Victoria Park. The reason for building a brand new facility is to use to transfer current residents who are in our holistic care from 16-18 Duncan st Victoria Park facility (Burswood care). There will be no new patient intake for this facility and purely use the facility for the existing residents at Burswood Care.

Primary function of the New Facility is to provide the modern accommodation and low care for people with diagnosed mental illnesses. Residents will be provided with accommodation and majority of rooms are single bedrooms and some of them are doubled.

Since we are a low care provider, our services will be limited to meals, medication, assistance with finance, personal hygiene and other day-to-day activities which the residents are unable to handle on their own. Local GP will make a visit once a week to see if any residents require special clinical services and other client-centered visits from Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Podiatrist, occupational therapist, and Diabetes Educators will be arranged depending on the requirement.

Those will then be directed to the relevant medical Centre’s or hospitals for extra care. All three meals will be provided by the new facility with additional snacks in between. Round the clock care will be provided for our residents and all their day today activities such as medication, finances, personal hygiene, transportation, and health related matters are been monitored by the staff.
