10 Brady Road, Lesmurdie WA 6076

Located in the tranquil Perth Hills, Sunshine Park is a retreat-like facility just a short drive to local rose farms and cafés. This friendly facility includes several common areas where residents can get together. There’s a ‘men’s den’ for the gents to enjoy fortnightly Happy Hour drinks, a lounge area with big TV for watching their favourite sports, outdoor areas for relaxation, a hair dressing salon and on-site kiosk.
Garden areas at each end of Sunshine Park feature a variety of plants, many of which have been planted by and tended to by our residents. So if you have a green thumb, you will be welcome to help out! We also have resident birds and goldfish that live in lovely courtyard enclosures.

Beds are available for dementia enrichment living, as and when required.

Your fees and charges will be based on the outcome of the financial assessment that you have submitted to Centrelink or DVA prior to your entry into aged care. Further information is available on the My Aged Care website

Basic Daily Care Fee – Payable by all aged care recipients

The maximum daily care fee is payable by all residents in aged care and equates to 85% of the Australian single age pension. The basic daily fee is set by the Australian Government and increases on the 20th of March and September every year. For some people this is the only fee they are required to pay.

Daily Accommodation Contribution (DAC) – Subject to financial assessment outcome

The resident pays the required amount direct to the aged care provider which reduces the amount of care subsidy paid from the government to the provider. This fee is subject to quarterly reviews. The DAC can be paid as a RAC (Refundable Accommodation Contribution).

Means Tested Fee – Subject to financial assessment outcome

This fee is dependent on the financial assessment outcome and subject to quarterly reviews.

Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) - Subject to financial assessment outcome

This is a charge set by the facility and is for the accommodation payment for the room that you have agreed to enter. The RAD can be paid as a lump sum or part lump sum and a daily payment (DAP). Lump sums paid are fully refundable.

Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) - Subject to financial assessment outcome

This is the daily payment based on MPIR (Maximum Permissible Interest Rate) of the RAD that has not been paid in full.
